I thought that was cute, putting a colon between the words semi and colon.  LOL.

Well my sister was recently diagnosed with diversticultissiccaparanormalcolonsickness.  Its apparently all the rage as many people have gotten it.  They aren’t sure what causes it but they know how to cure it.  They just cut out part of your colon and leave you with a semicolon.

I just talked to her and she said it was a pain in the ass (hyuk) but now she is feeling better and the hole in her stomach is healing but still oozing.

She was told she should just eat a normal diet but when she attempted chips and hot sauce the resulting elimination was quite painful.  I’m not sure the doctors and nurses understand that the words ‘normal diet’ might not mean the same for everyone.  Another sad testimony to our health care system.  I wonder if Barack and Hillary’s plans include training for our health care professionals.  Probably not.  We’ll get the money to go to the doctors and hospitals but the doctors and hospitals will still be horrible.

Oh well, I’m glad my sister got out of there without them cutting out the wrong parts like when people here go to Kaiser to have a leg removed and the doctors remove the wrong one.  An honest mistake I’m sure.  Think about it.  “Patient is in to remove the leg on the left.”  The doctors don’t think to ask “Who’s left, mine or the patients?” before they pull out the hacksaw and saw away.  Then of course the patient sues Kaiser and everyone ends up paying higher health care costs, because of one person who simply won’t take “Sorry about that!” as retribution.  What a selfish world we live in!
